We have various options to help you get the best behavior out of your dog. We have puppy classes, obedience classes, day training, private lessons & board/train.

Obedience Training

We offer day training (during daycare), private lessons (at your home) and board & train for your pup. 



Day training/pack adventures* (add-on to daycare)

*After 3 day training sessions and passing the recall test, owner is given the option to choose between the 1h training session or the 1h30min pack adventure for each future session.

Group Classes

Canine Good Citizen training

NEW GROUP CLASS ON 1/26/20

Do you have a dog who is reactive on leash? Say no more. We can help.


Grant with Noble Dogs will be holding a group class/field trip for us at Shelter Island on Sunday, January 26. It starts promptly at 1:00pm and will last 2-3 hours, depending on the group size.


Group class is $25. Sign up soon ~ Space is limited.


*Please note: we will be working only on leash reactive issues during this group class. If you have other issues, we can definitely address them with private sessions.

Puppy Preschool

Socializing your puppy between 8-20 weeks is the most important thing you can do for you and them!


This group class will be held on Sundays for 6 weeks. Fee: $210. 

Sign up soon because we keep the groups small. 

NEXT CLASS STARTS ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13.


This class is for puppies from 10-16 weeks old. They must have completed their first round of puppy shots.

Classes will have an emphasis on early socialization and development. Some areas that will be covered include: bite inhibition (gentle jaws), motivating your puppy to listen to basic commands, meeting strangers, becoming comfortable with new things and more!

Once your pup graduates from pre-school, they are ready for kindergarten classes.


Puppy Kindergarten

Kindergarten is for graduates of Preschool or puppies older than 5 months 

This group class will be held on Sundays for 6 weeks. Fee: $210



This class if for puppies from 16-24 weeks old.


Classes will build on what they have learned from preschool. It will have an emphasis on more reliability and duration of commands, listening with distractions, continued bite inhibition, socialization and more!


At the end of the class, your puppy can become certified as a K-9 Good Citizen after passing the test.

Canine Good Citizen

The Canine Good Citizen is focused on manners and obedience for everyday living with your dog. Once the course is complete you can take the test to certify your dog as a Canine Good Citizen. 


The test items include:

 Accepting a friendly stranger

 Sitting politely for petting
 Appearance and grooming

 Walking on a loose leash
 Walking through a crowd
 Sit, down, and stay

 Coming when called
 Reaction to another dog

 Reaction to distractions

 Supervised separation
