Daycare & Birthdays

After your first free 1/2 day* with the temperament test successfully completed, your dog is ready for group play. All dogs are grouped based on size and temperament. All groups are small, so reservations are required. (Please note: we are unable to accept pit bulls in group play at this time due to insurance restrictions. Pit mixes will be assessed like all breeds). *If you are not a San Diego resident, the first day is not free.

Socialization Class w/ trainer

Socialization Class is for puppies or dogs who have no aggression tendencies*, but have not had experience socializing with other dogs or need more experience.

We consider this a transitional stage to get your pup ready for daycare after proper socialization practice with a trainer and small group of dogs. (See packages below)

If you have a reservation for daycare or grooming and no show or cancel the same day, there is a $25 fee. (Only exception for daycare are monthly subscribers. Subscribers are guaranteed a spot in daycare every day - with a reservation).

No show or same day cancellation for overnights is 1 night stay charge

Training & Enrichment

These are add-on options for your dog's daycare day. Daycare fee is not included. Packages do not expire. Discount do not apply to packages.

Overnights

All pups must have passed temperament test before all overnight stays. Dogs with sitters must be housebroken and on flea treatment. We provide bedding, blankets, toys and crates when needed. You just need to bring your dog's food and any medication they need with instructions.

Overnight at Wags & Ruffs

All dogs must check in by 12noon.

All pups stay at W&R's with an overnight attendant on site and sleeping with the pups. They will be in daycare all day and sleep in our overnight area with beds and blankets each night. Report cards sent every morning.

Overnight w/ sitter

Your pup will check in and checkout at Wags & Ruffs and get picked up by one of our sitters to stay in their home with them.

Afternoon checkout & extras

Afternoon checkout - if you checkout after 12noon on their last day, a 1/2 day of daycare fee ($38) is added to their stay.

Please note: we are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day & New Years Day for daycare. No drop offs or pickups. Christmas Eve hours are 9am-12noon. Subject to change each year.

Deposits & cancellation policy

Deposit & cancellation policy: We require a 1 night deposit during the holidays or when the stay is longer than 2 weeks.

If you cancel less than 24 hours of check-in date, the deposit is non-refundable.

Grooming Services

We will assess each dog upon check-in and if there is excessive matting, and extra charge may be added. Please make a reservation for all services. NO SHOWS OR SAME DAY CANCELLATION will be charged a $25 fee. All grooming clients MUST have a credit card on file to make a reservation.
