How to get started

How do I begin?

• Make sure you have current vaccination records for your dog. We require that your dog is current on their rabies, parvo & distemper vaccinations. We also require that all dogs under the age of 12 months have a clear fecal test w/ giardia completed.
  Requirements for cats are rabies and FVRCP vaccinations. They must also be at least 4 months old.
  You will be asked for those when you register. If you are new, we will need to review them and update the exp dates manually. Then, we can book your first day. PLEASE NOTE: we do allow titer testing for parvo & distemper with a note from your vet explaining the antibody results)
• Please note: you are more than welcome to stop by the facility and take a peek through the windows into the playrooms and chat with staff. Weekends are best. We do not offer tours into the back areas with the dogs for safety reasons. We have two videos on our home page that show you the entire facility and new suites area.
• All dogs & cats must be at least 4 months old. 
• Male dogs over 8 months old must be neutered and females over 12 months must be spayed. We do not accept female dogs in heat. This is for the safety, well-being and happiness of all of our dogs in group play. 
• All dogs & cats must be free of fleas and ticks and on a preventative plan. If we do find fleas on your dog, we will administer a flea bath immediately (at the owner’s expense) and notify you. Flea baths are not preventative care.

What’s next?

• Register on our web site (see"register/book" button above) and text us when you are done to review your vaccination records and update the expiration dates.
• Please make sure you have signed both owner agreements or you will not be able to make a reservation.
• A staff member will have to review your vaccination records and update your account. If you are getting an error message when trying to book the first day, please text us.
• Go back to "register/book" and "make reservation."
  Click on "First day, daycare, overnights & classes" and make your reservation for your pup's first day (available Mon-Sat with drop off by 10am)
• If you are booking private boarding or private daycare only, the first day for a temperament test is not always required. We may ask to bring them in for a test day based on their history to make sure they are comfortable in our setting.
•  If you want to book social overnights and you are new, we may require your pup to attend daycare for at least 1-2 days BEFORE their first stay to get used to us and the facility (private boarding is excluded from a temperament test unless you want them in daycare, too).
• If you are not new to us, but haven't had your dog in daycare in the past 6 months, we may require your pup to attend at least 1-2 daycare days before their overnight social stay (private boarding only excluded). We cater to our regulars for overnights, esp since we have small groups.
• Reservations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel for any reason, please do so in advance. Same day cancellations or no shows will be charged a $25 cancellation fee for daycare and $90 for overnights

Daycare

• Monday through Friday we have daycare from 7:00am - 7:00pm. Saturday & Sunday from 8am-6pm.     
• You can add a 1 hour day training to your pup's day with our trainer on Thurs. and Fri. Training will be a scheduled "additional service" option and based on availability. We also have a lot of enrichments activities that you can add to their day, too
• All dogs must pass a temperament test for social daycare. 
• HEALTH CHECKS - we do a quick health check for every dog when they arrive in daycare. If they have any physical issues (cough, cuts, warts, etc) that we think might be worrisome or contagious, we will contact you right away. Please check our blog post on canine papilloma (warts) that are contagious. We do not require the bordetella or canine influenza vaccine, but if we notice your dog has a persistent cough or seems ill, we will contact you and may require them to be picked up. Both symptoms will require a clearance from your vet to return to group play.
• Scratches & cuts - please be aware that your dog may get some cuts or scrapes during group play, especially if they are high energy/active players. We keep an eye on their play behavior and prevent any super elevated play to avoid injury. But, little scratches and cuts are not unusual.
• Please make sure your emergency contact is current and updated in case we need to have your dog picked up while you are traveling.

What can we bring?

• If your dog is here for daycare, we recommend you feed them at home. If your dog is here for overnight stays, you should bring your own food and any medications they need. If we supply the food, it is $5/meal. 
• Lunch requests for any dogs over the age of 10 months old will be charged a $5 fee per lunch break
• We do recommend you leave toys and blankets at home for social boarding. Private boarding can have some personal items in their suite, but we do have comfy beds and blankets provided

Overnight Stays:

• We have staff on site 24/7 for our overnight pups and they sleep with the dogs in the playroom and monitor the private suites as well.
• Each dog will need to pass the temperament test for social boarding
• If you are not new to us, but haven't had your dog in daycare in the past 6 months, we may require your pup to attend at least 1-2 daycare days before their overnight stay (private boarding only excluded). We cater to our regulars for overnights, esp since we have small groups.
• Bedding, toys and blankets are provided, so please just bring your dog's food and medication, if needed. If you are booking private boarding, you can bring their own toys and blankets, but please do not bring large beds. Be aware that if your items get soiled or destroyed, we cannot take responsibility for that.
• Private boarders get 3 outside time breaks included in their stay. They will get their breaks alone or with siblings only.
• We have many enrichment activities you can add on to their stay and tuck in service for private boarding pups.

Potty breaks:

• All of our dogs are inside all day for daycare. We have found that they do not regress in their potty training and treat daycare like an inside dog park. If you do want your dog to get some outside time, you can add on a 10-15 minute outside time (in our small outside potty area) for an extra $10 or enrichment sessions (15 or 30 min) that are one on one with an attendant.

Grooming (by appointment):

• We offer grooming or baths on most days. We also have add-on service such as de-shed treatment, blueberry facials, nail trims and teeth brushing.
• If you cancel on the same day of your reservation or do not show up, a $25 cancellation fee applies.

Drop-Off, Pick-Up, After hours and Checkout

• Lobby hours for drop-off and pick-up are 7:00am - 7:00pm (M-F); 8:00am - 6:00pm (Sat & Sun). All daycare and social boarding dogs must check in by 12noon.
• Payment is due upon checkout or may be made in advance at check-in. If your stay is longer than 14 days, we will require a 50% deposit at check-in. All holiday bookings require a 1 night deposit to hold your spot. Both are refundable if you cancel within 72 hours of check-in.
• We do have a $25 early-drop off or late pick-up fee before/after hours (for overnights), but it must scheduled in advance. We cannot guarantee early check-in or late checkout availability if it has not been approved in advance. 
• There is a 1 min grace period after we close. After the 1 min grace period, it is a $25 late pickup fee. If your pup is with us after we close, they will be checked in for an overnights and fees apply. Thank you for understanding.

Cancellation policy

• Daycare & grooming - No shows and same day cancellations will be charged $25 (only exception for daycare are subscribers since they are guaranteed a spot every day)
• Overnights - no show or same day cancellation will be charged 1 night stay fee
